The rain, cold and strong winds didn't stop guests from enjoying a Donor Recognition Reception held on Thursday, February 7, at St. Coletta's of Illinois. This event, hosted by St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation, invited donors and community partners to the Tinley Park facility to thank them for their dedication and commitment to the mission of St. Coletta's.
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation's Mega Raffle is Back!
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Mega Raffle and the chance to win up to $25,000! Tickets will be available to purchase beginning February 1, 2019. Each $100 ticket purchased will support programs and services that foster independence and inspire confidence for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the community
St. Coletta's of Illinois Launches Autism Pilot Program
St. Coletta’s of Illinois is pleased to announce an expansion to its program offerings with the start of the Autism Engagement Program, a pilot program for adults on the autism spectrum. The Autism Engagement Program comes at a time when other autism programs have closed due to a lack of funding and state budget cuts. St. Coletta’s is excited to be able to fulfill a growing need within the community.

​St. Coletta’s of Illinois Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the Foundation Board of Directors. Accepting appointments to three-year terms are: Sue Linn (Orland Park), Cassandra Matz (Olympia Fields), and David Seaman (Tinley Park).
Community Comes Together to Bring Christmas to St. Coletta's
Once again this Christmas, St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation realized just how blessed they are to be part of a generous community. Friends and neighbors came together to provide all residential participants a wonderful Christmas morning. For many residents, this is an extra-special time as they do not have a family to bring them gifts.
Girl Scouts, Pizza and the Season of Giving
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation has a long-standing relationship with the local Girl Scouts in the South Suburbs and each year they adopt several group homes and collect "wish list" items for St. Coletta's participants. Each present is wrapped with care and put into wonderfully decorated baskets. Fun treats, snacks and movies are also included for cold winter nights.

With the weather cooperating and the snow at bay, St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation hosted their 66th Annual Caritas Benefit on Friday, November 9 at Esplanade Lakes in Downers Grove. With over 260 guests in attendance, an increase from previous years, St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation raised $145,000 to support those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Coleman Foundation Helps Open the Doors of Opportunity
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation invites you to open the doors of opportunity for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With the generous support of the Coleman Foundation, online donations of $175 or more made November 1 through Novembe 27 (#GivingTuesday) will be matched at $175, up to a total of $10,000.

For their 66th year, St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation will again host their annual Black Tie event at the beautiful Esplanade Lakes in Downers Grove. This special event will help support the programs and services for the 250 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities at St. Coletta's of Illinois
Dr. Matheu to be Honored by St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation at Annual Caritas Benefit
Dr. Joseph Matheu, DO, is a family medicine practitioner with Robinson and Associates in Oak Lawn, and Advocate Health Care in Orland Park. Dr. Matheu has been providing quality medical care to the people served by St. Coletta's for 40 years.
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation to Honor Dr. ElShafie at Annual Caritas Benefit
St. Coletta's of Illinois Foundation will honor Dr. Osama Elshafie, M.D., on November 9 at the 66th Annual Caritas Benefit. Dr. ElShafie has provided psychiatric care and clinical oversight for the individuals served by St. Coletta's since 1993.
